1. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of the mobile application, website, and all related services provided by Tee Up (the “App” or “Platform”), through which users (“User”, “you”, “your”) can search, book, and pay for tee times (“Tee Times”) at participating golf courses (“Golf Courses”).

By using the App, creating an account, or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

2. Definitions

  • “Reservation” means a confirmed booking of a tee time via the App.

  • “Golf Course” means a golf club or resort partnered with Tee Up that offers tee times via the Platform.

  • “Cancellation Policy” means the policy of the relevant Golf Course governing how and when cancellations or changes are permitted.

  • “No-show” means a failure to appear for a booked tee time without proper cancellation.

  • “Payment Method” means a payment option supported by Tee Up, such as iDEAL, credit card, or other digital payment tools.

  • “Fees” means the amount payable for a Reservation, including green fees and any applicable service charges.

  • “User Account” means your personal account giving access to the App.

3. Use of the App

  1. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

  2. You are responsible for correct use of the App and the accuracy of all information you provide.

  3. You may not use the App for fraudulent activities, to bypass security measures, or to disrupt its operation.

  4. All intellectual property rights in the App, including software, design, name, and content, remain the property of Tee Up or its licensors.

 

4. Registration and Account

  1. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

  2. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it up to date.

  3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

  4. Tee Up may suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, breach of these Terms, or suspected fraud.

 

5. Reservations and Payments

  1. Through the App, you can search for available tee times and make Reservations at Golf Courses.

  2. When you make a Reservation, payment is made directly to the Golf Course via our Platform. Tee Up acts as an intermediary facilitating the transaction, but Tee Up is not a contractual party to the service ultimately provided by the Golf Course.

  3. Your Reservation is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or in-app notification.

  4. The Golf Course’s own rules — including dress codes, conduct, and arrival times — form part of your Reservation.

  5. Tee Up is not responsible for the delivery or quality of the services provided by the Golf Course (such as course conditions, closures, or performance).

 

6. Cancellations, Modifications, and No-shows

  1. Each Golf Course maintains its own Cancellation Policy, which is shown when booking and included in your Reservation confirmation.

  2. Cancellations outside the permitted window may result in a partial or full loss of the amount paid.

  3. In the case of a No-show, the user generally forfeits any right to a refund.

  4. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., course closure, extreme weather), the Golf Course may offer an alternative tee time or refund.

  5. Tee Up facilitates communication between Users and Golf Courses but is not obliged to issue refunds if the Golf Course declines to do so.

 

7. Fees and Errors

  1. All prices shown include VAT and service fees unless otherwise stated.

  2. In the event of obvious errors or technical issues in pricing or availability, Tee Up may correct or cancel a Reservation, with reimbursement of any amount paid.

  3. Unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension.

 

8. Liability

  1. The Platform is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  2. Tee Up is not liable for damages arising from services rendered by Golf Courses, cancellations, or user mistakes.

  3. Tee Up’s total liability, whether contractual or otherwise, is limited to the total amount paid by the User via the Platform in the 12 months preceding the incident.

  4. This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from wilful misconduct or gross negligence by Tee Up.

 

9. Intellectual Property

  1. All rights to the App, including software, text, images, trademarks, and databases, are owned by Tee Up or its licensors.

  2. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of the App for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Tee Up.

 

10. Privacy

Tee Up processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its Privacy Policy.
By using the App, you consent to such processing.

 

11. Termination of Use

  1. Tee Up may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time in case of misuse, breach of these Terms, or fraudulent activity.

  2. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us.

  3. Existing Reservations remain subject to the Golf Course’s policy even after termination.

 

12. Amendments to the Terms

Tee Up may modify these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available within the App.
In case of significant changes, Tee Up will inform users via email or an in-app notice.
Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

 

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by Dutch law.

  2. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

 

14. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.

  • Tee Up may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to a third party, provided this does not materially affect your rights.

  • Situations of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, technical failures) release Tee Up from its obligations for as long as such circumstances persist.
